Joni Karjalainen

Joni Karjalainen is a doctoral researcher at Finland Futures Research Centre (FFRC), University of Turku. His current research focuses on the prospects of anticipatory governance, the energy transition, and learning from the many different crises, including future ones that could materialize, which societies could be facing. He has been a visiting scholar in the Institute for Futures Research (IFR) in South Africa and the University of Sussex, Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) in UK.
