Shams Hamid

Dr. Shams Hamid is currently serving as the Dean of Social Sciences and the Founding Director of “IMAGINE: Institute of Futures Studies” at Iqra University, Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Hamid has also participated in the design and implementation of research in education funded by various International Agencies, including US-AID, UNICEF, World Bank, and the European Commission.

Dr. Hamid has proven expertise in planning, designing, and evaluating initiatives using knowledge and information across global environments, including corporations, government, educational and non-profit institutions. In addition, he has developed a critical insight into the legal, social, and cultural factors that influence an organization’s ability to leverage information during his career.
