Stefanie Ollenburg has a background in communication design and a master’s degree in Futures Studies from Freie Universität Berlin. Currently she is a research associate and PhD candidate at HBK Braunschweig (Braunschweig University of the Art) as part of the SE2A excellent cluster and the associated project SCENAIR2050 with the objective to develop alternative user-centered scenarios for an eco-friendly air traffic system.
Prior she held a research position at Freie Universität Berlin in the EU Erasmus+Alliance project “Becoming future-oriented entrepreneurs in universities and companies”. With partners from Poland, Italy, and Spain an e-learning platform was developed with the aim to strengthen the capacity of Futures Literacy (http://futureoriented.eu/).
Since 2012 Stefanie has been teaching design and introductory classes in Futures Studies at universities and high schools throughout Germany. She also is part of the faculty of the master’s degree in Futures Studies at Freie Universität Berlin.
In 2020 she became part of the Zukünfte Network team (www.zukuenfte.net). They run workshops and Futures Literacy Laboratories as well as train organizations in Futures Literacy.
Her motivation is to support people and organizations to become aware of how they already shape the future as well as to facilitate their process of creating a future we all want to live in!

Specializing in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight and Transformation Design with tools and approaches such as futures workshops, variations of the scenario technique, visioning workshop, and other methods used in foresight and design.

My motivation is to support people and organizations to become aware of how they already shape the future as well as to facilitate their process of creating a future we all want to live in!

My consultation incl. the conception of brand strategies, big ideas, corporate identity, consumer communication, and corporate branding – executed with the support of my network of specialist.
