24th World Conference
Anticipatory Governance
Many countries around the world are experimenting with integrating foresight thinking and practice into their policy making systems. At the same time the theory of anticipatory systems and anticipatory governance is progressing fast. This session is set up as a mutual learning process attempting to bridge between theory and practice of anticipatory governance. We will start with two conceptual contributions and then move on to a panel of foresight practitioners from three governments (Finland, Greece and Germany) who will report on key emerging issues from their perspective. The session will close with a roundtable for exchanging between the two perspectives among speakers and session participants.
